Slimes retaliate against MacG following his comments suggesting that A Reece is "destined for failure."

The fans of A Reece have found themselves caught up in a heated debate due to some controversial comments made by the well known podcast host, MacG, regarding the talented rapper's dedication to success.

MacG, known for his outspoken nature, made remarks suggesting that A Reece, a prominent figure in the hip hop scene of the country, has a penchant for failure. During a recent episode of the Podcast And Chill, MacG engaged in a discussion with his co hosts about which current SA rappers they would approve of dating their daughters.

To include A Reece in the conversation, the provocative podcaster characterized the rapper as someone who seems destined to encounter failure.

“You dont know A-Reece? The guy who’s committed to failure,” MacG said addressing Ghost Lady. “He’s committed to failure dawg when it’s time to grow, he’s like uh uh, I dont want to grow, I’m good. Im comfortable, you say to him let’s go to America, and he says uh uh,” MacG added.

In a recent podcast episode, MacG's statement sparked a strong negative reaction from A Reece's fans. This led to extensive discussions on Twitter, with fans expressing their disagreement and some even deciding to unsubscribe from the popular podcast.

However, A Reece has faced previous criticism from content creators who question his dedication to his rap career. Some have voiced concerns about his girlfriend, Rickelle Jones, being involved in his music endeavors, suggesting that it may impede his progress.

According to a TikToker named Thakgiabhorshuman, "She hasn't been successful in securing deals for The Boy and I know some might mention the Hennessy incident. But that was a one time thing. They couldn't sell Vans a while back and even Nike didn't come through when we're talking about speeds of 60km/hr. I feel like she acts as a barrier between A Reece and other artists or brands."

Despite these criticisms surrounding his rap career, A Reece seems unfazed by the noise. During an interview at his album launch, he expressed that he doesn't pay attention to criticism on social media because he trusts the individuals he works with in the studio and his team.

"I honestly don't care about critiques because you know what? When I'm in the studio, I'm surrounded by genuine people.""The individuals I interact with in the studio are genuinely forthright with me and I highly appreciate their viewpoints. You know why? It's because they possess valuable experience," expressed A Reece.
