Watch! how AKA shows love for Musa Keys, the hitmaker in the world of Amapiano

Watch! how AKA shows love for Musa Keys, the hitmaker in the world of Amapiano, Musa Keys happens to be one of the most prominent Amapiano artists in South Africa and it appears that he has garnered a fan in none other than AKA, a top Hip Hop artist. Supa Mega is known for his appreciation of amapiano music and often shares videos of himself grooving to his favorite tunes from this dance genre. Despite the politics surrounding these two popular genres, Supa Mega is able to set aside any differences and simply enjoy the music for what it is. Interestingly enough, both AKA and Musa Keys are not only highly regarded artists in South Africa but also happen to be signed with the same music and management company called T Effect.

In a recent video circulating on social media, AKA is spotted expressing his admiration for Musa Keys, also known as the Tsonga Michael Jackson. The duo recently performed together at an event called Super Soft Sunday. AKA spoke highly of Musa's performance and even referred to it as a delightful experience. In the video, they can be seen and heard engaging in a conversation about how AKA himself could be referred to as Tsonga Michael Jackson. "But calling myself Tsonga Michael Jackson would be something I would joke about and if these guys are showing you love, bro, you must be the real deal, undoubtedly," AKA affectionately tells the producer.

The Amapiano star, whose real name is Musa Appreciate Makamu, has been dominating the charts and built himself a strong reputation in the Amapiano dance scene. He is an avid music lover and credits pop icon Michael Jackson as his hero. Musa Keys is also inspired by the late pop icon to “make sure all his performances stand out”. When it comes to amapiano it’s all love from Supa Mega, he even recently hinted that he would be open to doing an amapiano beat if he found the right beat. “I’ll touch it if the right beat comes along…” responded AKA to a fan who asked if he would join the Amapiano bandwagon.

While AKA may have positive things to say about the dance genre, it still has not changed his die-hard love for SA Hip Hop. The rapper has previously expressed his doubts about the longevity of the genre compared to Hip Hop. “Amapiano is South African music so it’s okay but at the end of the day hip hop has been here for like 20 years. Piano you can have one, let’s see if you here at year 10,” remarked AKA during an interview with Zkhiphani.
