After releasing his album, the rapper took to Twitter (X) to proudly announce the project that had been teased a few months ago. He wrote, "I believe I'm the only rapper with 9 solo albums, but don't take my word for it. Just focus on your own work. And hey, if you're interested, I can still give you 3 more albums from Jozi for your listening pleasure 😂. With his strong connections in the South African hip hop scene, the North god expertly curated a 10 track album featuring some of the most prominent rappers in the industry. The Lifestyle hitmaker showcased the musical talent of Kid X, Nasty C, FLVME, Maggz, Manu WorldStar, Roiii, Gemini Major, Navio and Sphum.
To build momentum for his 9th studio album, Da L.E.S released the lead single "North 94 Freestyle" along with visually captivating content of top notch quality. The music video unequivocally proved that despite taking a significant break from the scene, the rapper still has a lot to offer to hip hop culture.
